Ministry of Certification and Standardisation of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The Order on Approving Rules for Product Certification came into effect from 28 March 2005. The rules establish common requirements for certification of produced and imported products in the National Certification System of Uzbekistan. It sets out provisions on certification procedure, application certification schemes, recognition of foreign certificates of conformity.
Product should bear the mark after certificate issue.

Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications (MITC)
Licensing of the activities of legal entities in the telecommunications sector is carried out by the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the “Telecommunications Licensing Regulation” approved by the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution of 22.11.2000 No. 458 “On measures to improve the management system in telecommunications and postal communication.”
All importers and manufacturers of mobile phone devices (including those imported for personal use) must register them in the special database.

Standardization, Metrology and Certification Agency of Uzbekistan
Decree No. 86 of 9 April 2015 on Implementing of Mandatory Energy Efficiency Labelling for Domestic Electrical Devices and Appliances and Newly Built Buildings and Structures in Uzbekistan.
Energy efficiency class of domestic appliances is indicated by a capital Latin letter: «A», «B», «C», «D», «E», «F», «G» (where “A” is the highest level of energy efficiency). There are additional categories: «A+», «A++» and above (ascending energy efficiency level).
