Regulations and compliance requirements can pose challenges to companies who are looking to export their new products in Taiwan. Most products must meet local standards and requirements to ensure products are safe, good quality, and fit for consumers’ needs.

* The RPC scheme is broken down into 7 modules of assessment and requires manufacturers to comply with any one or a combination of these modules. 3C secondary lithium cells/batteries and power banks are mandatory to be included under the RPC scheme from 1 May 2014.

TÜV SÜD has the experience and capability to support manufacturers in attaining compliance with Taiwanese requirements and obtaining the necessary approval. As a NCC-approved test laboratory, TÜV SÜD is able to perform the required testing to compliance and support manufacturers in obtaining the NCC certification mark.

BSMI certification includes the Taiwan RoHS marking requirement in the inspection standard for EEE. Implemented in stages, the changes mean the word “RoHS” must be included on CI MARK EEE products.
After passing testing for compliance with certain standards, applicants may attach Energy Labels to products.
It is not a separated RoHS certification, it’s part of BSMI certification.

TÜV SÜD test reports are accepted for safety approval and recognised by relevant authorities internationally. We also supports manufacturers in obtaining voluntary endorsement labels.
