What is Official Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) Assessment?

Industry 4.0 is transforming manufacturing, driving the need for businesses to assess their digital maturity. With rapid advancements like AI, IoT, and Big Data, staying competitive requires a deep understanding of your digital capabilities and proactive planning for future success.

The Official Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) Assessment or OSA from TÜV SÜD helps you evaluate your processes, technology, and organisational readiness. It offers valuable insights into how prepared you are for advanced manufacturing.

It follows the SIRI framework, a comprehensive tool for assessing industry 4.0 readiness. It evaluates three core building blocks – Process, Technology, and Organisation – across 8 pillars and 16 dimensions. By simplifying the complexity of digital transformation, the SIRI Framework provides a clear roadmap for manufacturers to start, scale, and sustain their Industry 4.0 journey.

Why Official SIRI Assessment is important

An Official SIRI Assessment empowers you to identify gaps in your digital capabilities. This is a challenge for many manufacturers who struggle to objectively evaluate their current digital maturity and identify the most impactful areas for improvement.

Manufacturers often find it difficult to determine which focus areas will have maximum impact. An OSA will help you prioritise focus areas that will deliver the greatest impact.

It will also help you from the perspective of benchmarking your company’s performance with those of your competitors. Understand how your company compares to peers is crucial for setting realistic and competitive transformation goals.

Furthermore, an OSA will empower you to plan for the future by aligning technology with your business goals. By facilitating your digital transformation, it will boost your productivity, flexibility, and sustainable growth.
