- Eurasian Economic Commission
Regulations
- Technical regulations of the Customs Union "On safety of low-voltage equipment" (TP TC 004/2011) came into force on 15 February 2013.
- EA Customs Union (EAC) Approval is a singular harmonised Approval Certificate for EMC and/or Safety for certain products. It covers all member states in the union.
- The product must be marked with the EAC Mark.
- There are 2 methods of conformity assessment for electrical products: Certification (CoC) and declaration (DoC). The validity is up to 5 years.
Guidelines
- A local representative is required for DoC.
- Conformity Assessment includes:
- Submission of application, test reports and essential documentation.
- Factory inspection report.
- Quality Management System certification (where applicable).
- The EAC mark should be shown on the product label.

- Products with nominal voltage of 50 to 1000 AC and 75 to 1500 DC require CU approval.

- Technical products to be connected to personal electronic computing machines
