The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL)
Regulations
- RATEL in Serbia has introduced a new Rulebook on Radio Equipment about the transition from Serbian Certificates of Conformity (CoCs) to CE Marking, published on March 22, 2024.
- Until December 31, 2026: Existing CoCs can still be used.
- From January 1, 2027: CE Mark becomes the sole certification mark for the market.
Guidelines
- Align with CE mark.
Applicable product categories
All radio equipment but exclude categories like equipment for radio amateurs and those used in marine, aviation, and state security activities.

Energy Efficiency

The Serbian Ministry of Energy and Mining
Regulations
According to the Article 41 of the Law on Efficient Use of Energy (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 25/13), product in the scope should apply for Energy label before sale in Serbia.
Guidelines
- Submitting the documents and test reports.
- Evaluation reports and other submitted documents by certification experts.
- Issue the Energy Efficiency Label.

Product categories that require mandatory labelling include:
- Air conditioning devices
- Cooling devices with direct sales
- Dishwashers
- Dryer with household drum
- Electronic screens
- Household cooling devices (electric refrigerators, freezers and their combinations)
- Light sources
- Ovens and household nappies
- Space heaters, combined heaters, space heater kits, regulation equipment temperature and solar appliances, combined heater kits, regulation equipment temperature and solar appliance
- Washing machines
- Water heaters, hot water tanks and water heater kits and solar appliances
