Regulations
- Certification is mandatory for electrical products designated by the SEC according to the 298/2005 Supreme Decree
- The SEC QR Code is the mandatory Chilean mark to be used and labelled on certified products

SUBTEL (Subsecretaria de Telecomunicaciones) is the telecommunications regulating agency in Chile.

Regulated according to the Resolution No. 737/2025, medical equipment need SUBTEL certification. Most common SRDs are exempt from certification but need to bear the mandatory QR code.
Guidelines
The webpage linked by the QR code must contain:
- Commercial information on the equipment and manufacturer/importer in Chile
- Technical specification of the equipment
- Declaration of conformity
