TÜV SÜD recently granted its first Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capacity Determination (ASPICE) level 2 process certificate targeting 48V battery management systems to the BMS plant of FinDreams Battery Co., Ltd. Jan Sun, SVP of TÜV SÜD Greater China, Zhao Chongmin, Senior Manager of Mobility of TÜV SÜD Greater China, Boris Ouyang, GM of Guangzhou Branch and Director of COM, TÜV SÜD Greater China, Zhang Shoubo, Deputy GM of FinDreams Battery and Deng Linwang, Plant Manager of the BMS plant of FinDreams Battery attended the ceremony.
Co-sponsored by Automotive Special Interest Group (AutoSIG) and VDA QMC, ASPICE is a process standard dedicated to automotive software development, which is widely used to improve process capabilities and assess the quality risks released by products of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. It integrates the best practices in software development management in the international automotive industry and is becoming a common framework requirement for evaluating automotive suppliers.
With TÜV SÜD’s full technical support in the process system construction, combing and optimization of existing process system, imports of process tool etc., the 48V Battery Management System of FinDreams Battery Co., Ltd successfully passed ASPICE Level 2. evaluation from Sunil Kumar, one of the ASPICE's most senior auditors and instructors.
