Thailand: Establishment of industrial standard TIS 62885-5-2564 for surface cleaning appliances - part 5: high pressure cleaners and steam cleaners for household and commercial use

The Thai Ministry of Industry published announcement no. 6277, 2022 on 21 February 2022 that establishes industrial standard TIS 62885 part 5-2564 on surface cleaning appliances – part 5: high-pressure cleaners and steam cleaners for household and commercial use - methods for measuring performance, in accordance with the Industrial Product Standards Act.

TIS62885 part 5 is based on IEC 62885-5, listing the characteristic performance parameters for high-pressure cleaners and steam cleaners in accordance with the IEC 60335-2-79. 

The standard identifies terms, scope, definitions, general requirements and methods for testing the performance of high-pressure cleaners and steam cleaners.

This announcement no.6277,2022 is effective from 21 February 2022 which is the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
