APRIL 2024 - ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS
On 7 February 2024, China's National Development and Reform Commission and other relevant departments published a 2024 edition announcement No. 127, 2024 on the different energy efficiency levels which includes advanced level, energy saving level and access level for the key energy-consuming products and equipment.
The announcement is to accelerate energy conservation by means of advanced technologies, achieving carbon reduction and neutrality and promoting the improvement of energy-saving standards for products.
The announcement specifies the expansion of the key energy-consuming products by adding 23 products including data centres, industrial boilers, photovoltaic modules, etc. and dividing the products into 6 categories:

The Announcement is in force since 1 April 2024 and will repeal Announcement No. 1719, 2022
