Ukraine: Order No. 100, 2019 - Technical Regulations on Energy Labelling of Water Heaters, Hot Water Storage Tanks and Packages of Water Heaters and Solar Devices Approved

FEBRUARY 2020 – RELEVANT FOR: ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS

On 19 April 2019, the Ukrainian Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services established Order No. 100 which is modelled on the criteria specified in EU Regulation No. 812/2013. This order defines the requirements for the energy labelling of, and the provision of supplementary product information on, water heaters with a rated heat output ≤ 70 kW, hot water storage tanks with a storage volume ≤ 500 litres and packages of water heater ≤ 70 kW and solar device.

The Technical Regulations include:

• responsibilities of suppliers and dealers;
• product labelling requirements;
• technical documentation requirements; and
• information to be provided in the case of sale, hire or hire-purchase through the internet.

For those regulated products put into circulation before this order comes into force but do not comply with these Technical Regulations, may be released to the market until 16 July 2020.

This order was into force on 16 January 2020.
