EU: List of harmonized standards under RCD updated in Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1954 

OCTOBER 2022 - HARDLINES

On October 17, Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1954 of 12 October 2022¹ as regards European harmonised standards for recreational craft and personal watercraft drafted in support of Directive 2013/53/EU is published on OJEU.

The Implementing Decision, in the interests of clarity and rationality, publishes a complete list of references of harmonised standards drafted in support of Directive 2013/53/EU in its Annex I.

Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/919² and Communication 2018/C 209/05³ are therefore repealed. However, the Communication shall continue to apply in respect of the references of harmonised standards listed in Annex II to this Decision until the dates of withdrawal of those references set out in that Annex. 

This Decision has already entered into force since the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union on 17 October 2022.
