KSA: New implementation date for SASO IEC 62368-1:2020

JULY 2021 - ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS

As announced by SASO on 1st July 2021, the applicable date of the standard SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 shall be implemented as the following:

The new date to enforce the standard SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 will be 01/01/2023 instead of 01/07/2021
The test report as per SASO IEC 62368-1:2017 AS (IEC 62368-1:2014) will be accepted until the date of 30/12/2022

All related parties are to implement this decision and it is effective from the date of 20/11/1442 H (30^th June 2021).
