India: Extension of Acceptance of Test Reports from Labs Accredited by ILAC Signatories for notified Phase V products

In partial modification to Notification No. 5-2/2021-TC/TEC/165 dated 23.06.2023 on the subject cited above, the last date for acceptance of test reports issued by labs accredited by International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) signatories from non-border sharing countries has been extended by one month, i.e. from 30.06.2024 to 31.07.2024, for the technical parameters of the products notified under Phase V of MTCTE as per Annexure-I.
The mandatory certification date for the said products mentioned in Annexure-I remains the same, i.e. 01.07.2024.
List of products/ERs under Phase V of MTCTE in Annexure-I:
- Base Station for Cellular Network for 5G
- 5G Core
- Hypervisor
- E-band Fixed Radio Relay Systems
- Converged Multi Service Application Access Equipment (C-MSAAE)
- IP Terminal
As of the date of test report submission, the validity of test reports issued by foreign labs accredited by ILAC signatories from non-border sharing countries for technical parameters only shall be up to 2 years in respect of the above products (ERs).
