Electromobility is on the rise. Based on your professional knowledge as a vehicle electrician, mechatronician or mechanic, you can complete the course to become an electrician to work on vehicles with HV systems. You are then qualified to work independently and safely on vehicles with HV systems (e.g. electric cars, hybrid vehicles). In addition, you will be able to assess the work delegated to you, to reliably recognise possible dangers, and to put into practice all necessary protective measures.

This course will allow you to extend your field of competence as an electrician for HV systems in vehicles. You will acquire knowledge with a future in the area of electric mobility, and will be capable of handling the demands of high voltages.

This course will provide participants with the opportunity to learn through lectures, case studies, group exercises and discussions.
At the end of the course, participants are required to pass the examination. Participants who passed the examination will receive a Certificate for Qualified Electrician for High Voltage System in Vehicles. The exam can be retaken for up to 2 times.

There are no in-between assessments, but case studies will be included in the Level 2 - Training as Qualified Electrician for HV Systems in Motor Vehicles course. The final exam will be reserved at the end of the 4 modules.
Participants need to fulfil the below requirements to be eligible for the funding support. Eligible participants would only need to pay the remaining balance of the course fees to TÜV SÜD.
i. Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents;
ii. Meet the minimum set of entry requirements for the course(s) within the Programme;
iii. Achieve at least 100 % attendance for the course(s) within the Programme and/or sit for any prescribed examinations/assessments and/or submit any course/project work as required under the course(s)

Yes, you will receive a participation certificate upon completion at the end of the Level 2 - Training as Qualified Electrician for HV Systems in Motor Vehicles course. You will receive a qualification certificate upon passing the exam.
