What is the recruitment process at TÜV SÜD like?
The recruitment process provides an opportunity for you to get to know TÜV SÜD better. You are welcome to ask questions to determine if there is a suitable match between the job opening and your experience and career interests. For further information check our full recruitment process here.
Are all of the published job postings still vacant?
In this case, we will of course inform you about the job closing and you can decide whether to delete your profile or become part of our talent pool. We will then be reviewing your profile again for other positions that might be a good match for you. In your candidate profile you can see at any time if we transferred your application to another open position. You can also update your profile and make relevant additions to your application for the new opening in your account. Of course, you can also choose to withdraw your application if the position is not interesting to you.
I am already registered in the recruiting system – how can I access and change my data?
Are there technical restrictions when using the recruiting system?
While using our recruitment system, pop-up windows might appear. To ensure the correct use of the system functionalities, please temporarily disable the pop-up blocker of your web browser and activate java script. For attachments to your application, the following file formats are accepted by our system: DOCX, PDF, Image and Text (MSG, PPT and XLS file types are not accepted for resume or cover letters).
The recruitment system can provide some information in .pdf file format. Therefore, the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader is recommended. You can download the latest version of the Acrobat Reader at www.adobe.com.
During the application process, you will receive emails triggered by the system to update you on your application status. These emails may end up in your spam folder. Therefore, please check your spam folder if required.

Can I delete my profile?

What can I do if I forgot my username or password?
In case you forgot your username or password, you can use the “Forgot your password” function available in the section “View Profile” on our job portal.
Who can I contact with further inquiries concerning the recruiting system?
Can I be notified when new jobs are available?
Yes, you can receive job alerts. To set the job alert feature, you need to login to our recruitment system and define the types of roles you would like to receive alerts for.
To enable automatic email notifications or to view and manage job profiles, please proceed as follows: In your candidate profile, located in the top right-hand corner, select “Options” and open the drop-down menu. Click on “Job Alerts”. You will then have access to the email notification feature and the various job profiles.

Can I restrict the access to my data?
I was referred and received a notification. What do I need to do now?
In the email you received, you’ll find a link to create your candidate profile. Please set a password to complete the registration. Once your profile has been successfully created, go to our external job portal and search for the position you were referred for.
From there, you can submit your official application by clicking the ‘Apply now’ button. After your application has been submitted via your profile, the system will automatically register that you were referred by one of our employees. Our recruiting team will then contact you regarding the next steps.
How can I add additional documents to my application?
Please log in using your login details via this link.
Then click on “Job Applications” and open the position for which you would like to upload additional documents. You will be redirected to a new page where you can upload further documents.
Can I change my email address and my name afterwards?
Yes, this is possible. However, please note that any changes must be made both in your profile and in each of your applications. Please proceed as follows:
Update your profile information
Log in to your account using your login credentials and click on “Profile Information.” There you can update the following details:
First name, last name, email address, phone number, address, and country/state/region.
Note: These updates are not visible to our recruiters. To ensure that your revised information is taken into account during the selection process, you must also update the corresponding details directly in your applications (see step 2).Update the information in your applications
Click on “Job Postings” and open each position for which you wish to update your information. A new window will open. Under “Job‑Specific Information,” you can edit the following details:
First name, last name, email address, phone number, and country/region.
Note: These updates are visible to our recruiters and will be incorporated into the application process.
Is it possible to withdraw my application without deleting my profile?
Yes, this is possible. To do so, please log in to your profile and select the position under “Job Applications” for which you would like to withdraw your application. A new page will then open. At the bottom right of the page, you will find the option “Withdraw application.” Please click on this button and confirm the process by selecting “OK.” Your application for this specific position will then be withdrawn. Applications for other positions, as well as your profile, will remain unaffected.
