SCOPE:

All electrically powered incoherent broadband sources of optical radiation, including LEDs but excluding lasers, in the wavelength range from 200 nm through 3000 nm.

Example of products are, but not limited to, lamps and lamp systems including luminaires and backlight modules.

 

BASIS OF CERTIFICATION (REQUIREMENTS):

The certification mark is awarded within the framework of voluntary testing and certification.

The test procedure is referred to standard IEC 62471:2006.

The product shall be classified as exempt group (RG0) according to IEC 62471:2006.
