About the JLR-EMC-CS Specification

The increasing complex integration of internal electronic systems and external portable devices in vehicles has made the development and certification of automotive products significantly more complex.

To assure compliance with present and anticipated regulations as well as supporting customer satisfaction, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has developed JLR-EMC-CS. JLR-EMC-CS is an engineering specification that addresses electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for electrical and electronic components and subsystems used by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The requirements of JLR-EMC-CS affects all active electronic modules and sensors, motors, generators, solenoids and passive modules.

Testing Lab Capabilities

TÜV SÜD is recognized by Jaguar Land Rover to perform EMC test to the JLR-EMC-CS specifications.

  • Conducted Immunity (CI)
  • Electromagnetic Field Analysis (EMAG)
  • Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
  • EMC/EMI Diagnostic Testing
  • Radiated Emissions (RE)
  • Radiated Immunity (RF)
