Measurement Focus Group

The Measurement Focus Group is supported by the UK Government's National Measurement System (NMS) and is managed by TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory on its behalf. The group focuses on flow measurement and flow-related issues in industry. Club members are invited to attend technical club meetings.

What does the measurement focus group achieve?

Dissemination of flow measurement knowledge, regulation updates and details on DSIT-funded research. It also provides a great opportunity to meet others working in flow measurement and to discuss challenges with colleagues.

WHO ATTENDS measurement FOCUS GROUP events?

It is primarily delegates from the UK but we often have presenters from USA, Norway and other regions of Europe. It's typically operators, consultants, manufacturers, service companies and also delegates from the UK Oil & Gas Regulator.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT A measurement fOCUS GROUP MEETING?

It is a DSIT-funded half day meeting, typically comprising of four twenty-minute long technical presentations that are primarily focussed on flow measurement. The meetings are attended by up to 80 delegates which generate excellent technical discussions and networking opportunities.
