2. Subject Matter of Data Protection

TUV SUD Limited ("we", "us", "our") may from time to time provide relevant information on trade fairs, webinars, events, white papers, newsletters, updates, case studies, market studies and promotions related to our products and services ("Marketing Information") based on data received from submitted website forms and emails.

3. Processing Personal Data

We will process personal data (e.g. email address, phone number) provided by you when requesting Marketing Information solely for the marketing purpose as described in Sec. 2 of this Privacy Notice.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.  

4. Transfer of Data

We use external data processors which process your personal data on our behalf in order to provide you with Marketing Information and related customer inquiries. The data processors are selected carefully and audited at regular intervals to ensure protection of your data privacy. We use service providers which process data on their behalf (e.g. to support processing of customer inquiries or Marketing activities.

The transfer of personal data to data processors is based on Art. 28(1) GDPR, or alternatively on our legitimate interest in the economic and technical advantages associated with the use of specialized data processors, and the fact that your rights and interests in protecting your per-sonal data do not predominate, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Deletion of Personal Data

With regard to the processing of your personal data you have a right of access to your personal data being subject to the processing, a right to rectification of your personal data, a right to erasure of your personal data, a right of restriction of processing of your personal data, and a right to data portability with regard to your personal data.
