Scope:

This voluntary TÜV SÜD certification mark for products demonstrates that the product has been tested and certified by the third-party organisation TÜV SÜD. The certification mark is only awarded to products that undergo inspection by TÜV SÜD Product Service and comply with the criteria quoted below.

Basis of certification:

Certification is based on product-specific test programs developed by TÜV SÜD:

PPP 51961 - desks as permanent workplace in the living area “Home Office”

PPP 55063 - sitting & standing desks as permanent workplace in the living area “Home Office”

PPP 51962 - desks as temporary workplace in the living area or for mobile use “Virtual Office”.

It includes parts of various directives and standards e.g. (EC) No. 2001/95 (directive 2001/95/EC on general product safety).
