SINGAPORE: Technical specification of short range device Issue 1 Revision 3 published

On 01 Sep 2023, IMDA announced that the revised Technical Specification for Short Range Devices (IMDA TS SRD Issue 1 Revision 3) has been published.
Dealers and equipment suppliers may start registering short range devices, such as Wi-Fi 6E, that are compliant with the TS SRD under the Enhanced Simplified Equipment Registration (ESER).
The main change in the revision is the approval of Wi-Fi 6E under this new specification.
The range of frequency allowed is 5.945 – 6.425 GHz.
- Indoor < 250mW (e.i.r.p)
- Outdoor < 25mW (e.i.r.p)
