INDONESIA: ANnouncement on the Termination of Directive No. 109 of 2024 on foreign test lab determination for the Certification of Telecommunication Equipment and Devices

JANUARY 2025 - ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS

With the expiration of Directive No. 109 of 2024, which pertains to the designation of foreign testing centers for the certification of telecommunication equipment and/or devices on December 31, 2024, we hereby announce that test result reports issued by foreign testing centers after January 1, 2025, will not be accepted for the certification process until a new foreign testing center is designated in accordance with the latest regulations.

Furthermore, in accordance with Regulation No. 5 of 2024 issued by the Minister of Communication and Informatics concerning the designation of testing centers for telecommunication equipment and/or devices, test reports issued in the month before January 1, 2025, may still be utilised for the certification process for the next six months.
