North American standards: exporting HVAC equipment to America and Canada
Throughout the United States and Canada many local jurisdictions (Authorities Having Jurisdiction - AHJ) will not allow unlisted/ unlabeled equipment to be installed or used at manufacturing and commercial sites. Manufacturers who utilize equipment not compliant with local electrical laws could be fined or even shut down by OSHA and or electrical inspectors.
