Transition to ISO/IEC 27001:2022

TÜV SÜD for ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to ISO/IEC 27001:2022

As an accredited Certification Body, TÜV SÜD is required to perform this transition for all our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 customers.  

After April 30, 2024: All initial and recertification audits must upgrade to the new version, ISO/IEC 27001:2022. All surveillance audits may remain on their current cycle.  However, they must be transitioned to the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 no later than October 31, 2025.  

By October 31, 2025: All existing ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificates must either expire or be withdrawn. This means that your organization should complete the transition process by this date.  

To facilitate a smooth transition, we recommend the following actions: 

Current ISO/IEC 27001 TÜV SÜD certificate clients should contact their project coordinator. They will work with you throughout the process of transitioning your organization to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
