There may be occasions that you have not been able to conduct the normal certification process for machinery in the US. However, Field labeling and inspection allows a certification expert to assess your product in the field.
Field labeling is the process of inspection and application of a label onto a product to indicate that basic electrical and safety requirements for the products to be powered and put into service, and must be performed by an authorized Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). The TÜV SÜD inspection label is widely recognized by AHJs nationwide.
In the U.S, testing for compliance must be performed by an authorized Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).
