FOR THE FIFTH TIME TÜV SÜD WAS VOTED AS MOST ATTRACTIVE EMPLOYER

Young professionals have once again voted TÜV SÜD the most attractive employer in the automotive service provider sector. The online survey was conducted in advance to the "automotive TopCareer" career fair in Stuttgart.

TopCareer Award700 graduates and students from industry-specific study programs as well as young professionals voted on the attractiveness of companies in the automotive industry. The “TopCareer Award” is presented by the Institute of the Automotive Industry (IfA), the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences, and the magazine “Automobilwoche”.

“Excellent career opportunities, a secure future, but also a leadership culture, motivation and, last but not least, the salary: This is what makes TÜV SÜD so attractive for young professionals. We are delighted to have won the TopCareer Award once again,” said Patrick Fruth, CEO of the Division Mobility at TÜV SÜD.

Bettina Niedermeier, Head of Human Resources and Organizational Development at TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH, also focuses on safety as a decision criterion for choosing an employer: “Wars, climate change, inflation – times have become extremely uncertain. In this context, the safety factor plays an increasingly important role when it comes to choosing an industry or a company. TÜV SÜD is the right partner here, too. We look forward to welcoming many new colleagues and offering them a secure and forward-looking professional home.”

Working atmosphere and safety crucial

Looking at the basics of the survey - i.e. the criteria that young professionals, graduates and students use to choose a company - Niedermeier's assessment is confirmed. Right after the working atmosphere with a score of 1.32, the respondents ranked safety as the second most important decision criterion with a score of 1.61 percent. This was followed by salary with a score of 1.73.

The award is based on the annual IfA "TopCareer" study. It examines the employer attractiveness of individual companies in the automotive industry as employers from the perspective of students. It also identifies the requirements that young professionals place on their future employers. The survey is used to award prizes to the most attractive employers within strategic groups.
