Strong governance and compliance

Compliance with all applicable laws and international regulations, along with fair treatment of all stakeholders — including business partners, employees, and competitors — are core principles of our corporate philosophy.

The compliance policies established by the TÜV SÜD Global Compliance Office proactively address potential breaches and risks by increasing employee awareness, educating the workforce, and implementing appropriate processes. TÜV SÜD’s compliance management system forms the organizational foundation for ensuring adherence to applicable laws.

Environmental responsibility

We have a strong commitment to sustainability and are aligning our environmental actions with our Science Based Targets (SBT) commitment. We actively reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, and promote responsible resource management throughout our operations, supply chain, and partnerships. This includes expanding the use of renewable energy and systematically optimising resource use.

In line with our validated targets, we aim to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% and Scope 3 emissions by 25% by 2030.

By 2050, we are committed to reaching net-zero emissions across our entire value chain.
