This certification mark is of touch performance rating for touch and interactive displays.

Example of touch and interactive displays are, but not limited to, below products:

  • Mobile phone
  • Tablet computer
  • Laptop computer

 

BASIS OF CERTIFICATION (TEST REQUIREMENTS):

The certification mark is awarded within the framework of voluntary testing and certification. It demonstrates that the product has been tested and certified by the third-party organization TÜV SÜD. The certification mark is only affixed to products that undergo inspection by TÜV SÜD Product Service and comply with the criteria quoted below.

 

Key statements of the certification mark:

  • Precise Touch Rating S/A/B
    Precise touch rating is used to evaluate how fast and precisely the touch display response when one or two fingers operate on the touch screen. The characteristics of the touch display are test-ed and evaluated from five dimensions: latency, sensitivity, accuracy, repeatability and reliability by simulating multiple operation combinations of the touch screen with single finger or double fingers. The precise touch rating is divided into three grades: S, A and B, where S stands for the highest level.
  • 20 standard tests passed
    20 standard tests are performed to calculate the precise touch rating.
