The certification mark applies to the 3D printing service expertise of industrial additive manufacturing (AM) centres.

Basis of certification:

The certification mark is awarded within the framework of voluntary testing and certification. ‘Additive Manufacturer’ indicates a production site operating AM machines and offering parts produced by 3D printing, with a focus on premium customer-service quality and part quality as well as health and safety considerations. The quality criteria are defined in the DIN SPEC 17071 standard and are independently audited by TÜV SÜD experts.

The test procedure developed by TÜV SÜD is based on numerous standards such as:
