Compliance with European Standard for the Safety of Playground Equipment

TÜV SÜD (headquartered in Munich, Germany), a globally acclaimed safety and quality expert, has issued certificates to four playground equipment units of JAKUETS Inc. (Location: Tsuruga-shi, Fukui, President: Tatsuro Tokumoto). This certifies the product's compliance with EN 1176-1:2017 European Standard for the Safety of Playground Equipment.
Children's products such as playground equipment and toys require a high level of safety. In Europe in particular, strict standards are in place to minimise the risks to children due to the chemicals contained in the products and the shape of the products. According to the European Commission's information on recalls of non-compliant products, toys accounted for the largest number of recalls (23% of all recalls), significantly more than automotive products (16%) .
TÜV SÜD has issued certificates to four playground equipment units: BANRI, HOUSE, OMOCHI, OMOCHI MINI of JAKUETS, the leading manufacturer of educational equipment and materials for kindergartens and nurseries. This certifies the product's compliance with EN 1176-1:2017 European Standard for the Safety of Playground Equipment, indicates that the product has met strict safety standards. JAKUETS is the first Japanese playground manufacturer to be certified.
