Railway industry gains valuable insight at world’s fourth largest railway show
During RailLog Korea exhibition, the world’s fourth largest railway exhibition held at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center in South Korea, TÜV SÜD presented a technical seminar on 'Safety of Hydrogen and Future of Railway'. This provided railway industry stakeholders who participated in the industrial exhibition with invaluable information and new insights.
The seminar consisted of three sessions, focusing on key challenges faced by the railway industry across the world:
- European vehicle and goods approval (TSI)
- Railway cybersecurity
- Safety of hydrogen railways
TÜV SÜD also conducted on-site consultations with event attendees, as well as exhibiting its railway testing and certification offerings, including vehicle, signalling system and cybersecurity services. This gave attendees the opportunity to discuss face-to-face with TÜV SÜD's experts, topics relating to rolling stock, signalling, E&M, cybersecurity, software, and various domestic and global railroad test certifications.
Seung-Tae Ha, RI RLS Department at TÜV SÜD said: “The Busan International Railway Technology Industry Exhibition is the largest railway exhibition in Korea and is also a key event in the global railway industry calendar as various railway-related organisations and manufacturers from home and abroad exhibit and visit. Not only was the exhibition an excellent opportunity to showcase our broad set of rail related services and expertise, we were also delighted to have the opportunity to knowledge-share with delegates on topics relating to the practicalities and future visions of railway testing and certification.”
