What exactly is the Digital Vehicle Scan (DVS)?
TÜV SÜD's DVS technology completely reinvents the entire service and acceptance process. The system digitises, simplifies, and accelerates returns for lease and rental vehicles, car handovers, and all other routine checks.

TÜV SÜD's DVS technology completely reinvents the entire service and acceptance process. The system digitises, simplifies, and accelerates returns for lease and rental vehicles, car handovers, and all other routine checks. 

DVS creates a completely new experience level for the driver called Service Lobby, where the digital vehicle inspection scan is conducted in a pleasant atmosphere. Whereas previously your employee would have to walk around the vehicle to record its condition, cameras now automatically record everything – even tyre pressure and tyre tread depth.

The scan is carried out using up to 20 high-performance cameras. The data can be directly assigned to the corresponding vehicle by scanning the number plate. This all happens within a few seconds of passing through the drive-through gate.

Using BlueNOW! is very easy and you only need to follow four easy steps:

  1. Download the app – BlueNOW! works on all iOS and Android devices.
  2. Register in the app – Scan the QR code on the "live assessment ticket" that you receive from TÜV SÜD.
  3. Live digital vehicle inspection – You or your customer sets the appointment directly in the app and later connects to the TÜV SÜD expert at the selected time. Our expert guides the user around the vehicle via real time video.
  4. Report submission – After the inspection all damage found will be documented with pictures and detailed inspection report sent to the user via email.
