KEY STATEMENTS OF THE CERTIFICATION MARK:

Tab

Visual Ergonomics approved (ISO 9241-307)
  • TVs, displays, mobile phones, image projectors and other products incorporated with display panels are widespread in modern society, if the image quality of products are poor or adjustability of products is not possible, users may work in awkward postures which results physical discomfort like visual fatigue, neck, shoulder or back pains, furthermore, working efficiency is significantly reduced.

  • Comfort and efficiency can be improved by ensuring that products are complied with visual ergonomics requirements, considering user and product interaction including image qualities, adjustability, environmental effects, etc.

Flicker Free
The tested LCD monitors are flicker-free, help to protect users’ eyes and effectively reduce eye strain.
Anti-reflective (Unwanted reflections assessed)
The visual display terminals have been assessed if there are any unwanted reflections based on ISO 9241-307 standard. Excessive unwanted reflections on the screen of visual display terminals can produce glare that makes it difficult for the user to read the information displayed on the screen. The Anti-reflective (Unwanted reflections approved) assessment addresses those reflections which impair the readability of the image a display is trying to show.
Blue light ratio (Low Blue Light mode)
  • Blue light ratio is evaluated under specific low blue light mode of the product defined by the manufacturer, in comparison to default/pre-shipped/standard mode.
  • The ratio is defined as blue light irradiance/radiance (integrated over the wavelength range from 400 to 500 nm) over total irradiance/radiance (integrated over the wavelength range from 300 to 700 nm).
