The Bahrain Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme empowers consumers to choose energy-saving air conditioners. It sets minimum efficiency standards, where air conditioners within the scope of the standard GSO 2530/2016 shall meet the Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) as stipulated in the ministerial decree (70/2015) issued by MOICT of Kingdom of Bahrain.
