Initial Assessment and Conformity of Production (CoP)
As a designated Technical Service Category C (According to Reg. (EU) 2018/858) TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH can support any client willing to participate in the third-party type approval scheme with the European Type Approval Authorities. This support includes clients without any prior experience in this field. For this possible customer group an initial assessment is necessary and will be carried out by on-site audits and further quality assuring activities. Nevertheless, clients already holding type approvals can receive support in all CoP related topics.
In this context, the following requirements are crucial:
- Regulation (EU) 2018/858
- Regulation (EU) 167/2013
- Regulation (EU) 168/2013
- The UN/ECE Agreement of 1958 (UN/ECE regulations)
- National legislation
or relevant successor legislation.
Besides this, Type Approval Authorities can issue further requirements which will be discussed during the initial phase of the cooperation between TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH and potential clients.
