WHAT IS VIBRATION TESTING AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Vibration testing reduces the risk of product failure in the field by simulating the vibration conditions that products are exposed to during their lifetime. Test specification defines the applied vibration levels as well as response defined testing and analysis.

WHY CHOOSE TÜV SÜD VIBRATION TESTING? 

Vibration testing can be used to simulate anything from road transport through to military aircraft conditions, in most cases testing starts with a frequency response test to determine the products natural frequencies. This is commonly followed by endurance testing to ensure normal operation can be achieved during the application of a defined vibration profile, that simulates the vibration levels that would be seen during the products normal operating conditions.

Any test not on our UKAS scope which is within our capability can be added quickly through our flexible schedule, which is a rare privilege granted to us by our accrediting authority.
