REGULATIONS

A Certificate of conformity or certificate of quality is required for all exports to Algeria to ensure that the products meet legal and regulatory requirements.
This obligation is enforced by law 09-03, dated 25/02/2009, and decree 05-467 dated 12/12/2005, on conditions and procedures of conformity control of imported goods at customs.

GUIDELINES

Import file includes:

A copy of the certificate proving compliance with the conditions and modalities for practicing the activity of importing raw materials, products and goods destined for sale;
A copy of the national invoice; and
A copy of the packing list in case of importing a heterogeneous shipment.

APPLICABLE PRODUCT CATEGORIES

All consignments of imported goods are subject to the Algerian CoC program.

REGULATIONS

The Decision No. 28 of 16/10/2019 provide the Procedure for terminal equipment and radioelectric installations intended to be connected to a network of electronic communications open to the public.
Any equipment approved by the Regulatory Authority is subject to labeling with a non-removable sticker bearing the words “ homologué par l’ARPCE “ and the approval number of the Regulatory Authority.

GUIDELINES

Certificate of conformity supported by conformity test reports from an accredited laboratory for:

Electrical safety
Electromagnetic compatibility
Radio spectrum (required only for radio terminal equipment and radio installations)
Specific absorption rate (SAR) or exposure to electromagnetic radiation.

An application for approval of terminal equipment must be accompanied by a sample.

APPLICABLE PRODUCT CATEGORIES

All terminal equipment and radio installations intended to be connected to an electronic communications network open to the public shall apply for the Type Approval.
