Japan: Radio act enforcement regulations on technical requirements for low power wireless equipment, Ordinance No. 14, 1950 - Amendment - Ordinance No. 58, 2019

The Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications issued Amendment - Ordinance No. 58, 2019 to the Enforcement Regulations of the Radio Act. On 20 November 2019.

As an execution of Radio Law No. 6, 2019, this amendment supplements technical requirements for low power radio equipment under Article 6 category. These modifications are made based on Article 4-2(2) of the law, and they also involve reporting requirements for exemptions about radio equipment conformity.

To coordinate the regulation and the modified Law, this amendment also specifies conditions for those communications devices which can be used without limitation in accordance with license’s purpose, and revises provisions' number and words in the text.

This Ordinance was into force since 20 November 2019.
