Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO)
IECEE Recognition Certificate:
SASO will issue an IECEE Recognition Certificate for the products based on a valid CB issued by an IECEE approved lab.
SALEEM (Saudi Product Safety Program):
The new SALEEM scheme replaced the SASO COC scheme and operated via the new SABER system which is an electronic service used to issue certificates of conformity for products conforming with Saudi standards and specifications.
Requirements for the certification and registration in SABER system is different according to the level of risk of the product.
Two steps for the certification: Product Certificate of Conformity and Shipment Certificate of Conformity.
The product images for non-regulated products are mandatory to upload in SABER.

Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO)
The SASO EER Certificate is issued for registered products with Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO) for Energy Efficiency Labels, based on requirements according to applicable SASO standards.
Requirement for Standby and Off Mode Electric Power Consumption of Certain Electrical and Electronic Equipment will come into force on July 1, 2024.
