Sustainability in the supply chain
Sustainability in the supply chain

The actions we take to boost sustainability in our procurement operations are aimed at contributing toward the achievement of the United Nation's SDGs. Our primary focus is on these three SDGs:
- 8 Decent work and economic growth
- 12 Responsible consumption and production
- 13 Climate action
Sustainability has a significant value on us – we pay high attention on the continuous development of our global supply chain. Hence, we reflect our own business behaviour into our ESG requirements (Environment, Social, Governance) to the supply chain.
Actual ecological, economic and social challenges as well as expectations highlight the need for change in regards to sustainability. Promoting sustainable development TÜV SÜD commits to strengthen this approach by adapting it as one of the major targets and criteria for corporate and entrepreneurial behaviour.
All of us face a host of further tasks which must be handled here and now to ensure the future is worth living. Climate and environmental protection, sustainable development of economies and societies, safe and humane working conditions across supply chains—all these are areas where consistent joint action is more urgently needed than ever.
For TÜV SÜD, we want to live up to our duty and responsibility as a company and shape the sustainable future. TÜV SÜD Procurement with its supply chain makes an important contribution to meet this social, ecological and ethical responsibility. Sustainability has a significant value on us, dedicating continuous development, we also integrate ESG requirements (Environment, Social, Governance) to our supply chain.
