NRCan certification

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is Canada’s regulatory authority that sets standards for energy efficiency in industrial and consumer products. It has established requirements for more than 50 categories of energy-using products that are manufactured, imported or sold in Canada.

Suppliers are required to prove that their products comply with relevant NRCan regulations. An independent certification body such as TÜV SÜD can help test their product against such standards.

Many energy-using products intended for sale or export to Canada must comply with NRCan energy efficiency levels. It is necessary to comply with the regulations enforced by NRCan. Without compliance, your products will be denied market entry.
