On 1 July 2025, Wolfgang Hübl will take over as CEO of TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH, succeeding Walter Reithmaier, who will head the newly created Industry & Infrastructure division as CEO. At the same time, Karl Meier will be appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), a new position within the management team. Alongside CFO Patrick van Welij, Hübl and Meier will comprise the extended management board of TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH.
Wolfgang Hübl has many years of experience in various senior international management positions within the TÜV SÜD Group. He began his career at TÜV SÜD AG in 2003. After serving as Executive Assistant to the Management Board, he spent many years in Greater China, where he was responsible for the product service business in the region. He then took over as head of the Consumer Products division at TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH in Germany. In 2021, Hübl took over the global Commercial Products business from the TÜV SÜD Product Service Division. In his new role, he will drive the strategic and operational development of TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH, focusing on international synergies, innovation, and customer orientation.

Karl Meier is joining the management team as COO and will be responsible for operational business, market and customer activities, as well as marketing, sales and product development. The industrial engineer, who specialised in electrical engineering, has worked at TÜV SÜD for over ten years in various management positions, gaining in-depth knowledge of the testing and certification landscape. As Business Unit Manager for Commercial Products, he successfully drove business development through innovative services, process optimisation, and above all, employee and organisational development. Karl Meier will be responsible for the COM business unit on an interim basis.

CFO Patrick van Welij will remain on the Management Board and assume disciplinary responsibility for the central divisional units within TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH.
