TÜV SÜD Middle East LLC was designated in July 2025 by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) as a Notified Body for the Technical Regulation for Communications and Information Technology Devices. The recognition expands TÜV SÜD's existing service portfolio under the Saudi conformity assessment programme SALEEM and now enables the company to issue product and shipment certificates for Wireless/Radio and Telecommunication equipment intended for the Saudi Market.

The new notification underscores TÜV SÜD's technical competence and regulatory expertise in the field of conformity assessment and supports manufacturers, exporters and importers in meeting the complex legal requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
