On 19 December 2025, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) issued Decree No. 569 of 2025, establishing updated technical standards for cellular mobile telecommunications equipment and/or devices based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) and International Mobile Telecommunications-2020 (IMT-2020, or 5G) technologies. • The introduction of technical standards for repeaters based on IMT-2020 (5G) technology, as set out in a new Annex VIII.
  • Specification of technical standard parameters for broadband wireless access telecommunications equipment and/or devices based on IMT-2020 technology, covering:
    • Operating frequency
    • Output power
    • RF output spectrum
    • Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR)
    • Out-of-Band Unwanted Emissions (OBUE)
