Board of Management
Ishan Palit
He started his career with the American multinational “Rotary Corporation”, a supplier to the Automotive and Small Engine industry. Ishan Palit joined the TÜV SÜD Group in 1994 and founded the TÜV SÜD operations in India. As COO and then the CEO, he was responsible for the successful development of TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific and was subsequently promoted to CEO of the Global Product Service Division. He was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the TÜV SÜD Group in May 2017, responsible for operations and sales across all Divisions and geographies.
Ishan Palit has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (Chairman of the Board of Management) of TÜV SÜD AG since July 15, 2025.
Sabine Nitzsche
Sabine Nitzsche began her professional career at Infineon in 1994, where she held various positions in purchasing and project management before taking on commercial and strategic management positions at the Advanced Mask Technology Center between 2003 and 2011. From 2011 to 2021, she worked at the US semiconductor company GlobalFoundries, most recently as CFO for the EMEA region. Between 2021 and 2023, she was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President of the automotive business segment for Infineon. Before joining TÜV SÜD, Sabine Nitzsche was CFO and member of the Executive Board at Vitesco Technologies.
Since March 2025, Sabine Nitzsche has been appointed as Member of the Board of Management and CFO at TÜV SÜD AG.
