The testing center of the Swiss branch of TÜV SÜD offers a wide range of tests for the classification of goods according to the UN Recommendations on Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Orange Book). With the introduction of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) in the EU this classification scheme will progressively replace the current EU classification of chemicals.
The following list summerizes the dangerous properties with a short description of the tests for classification. In the second column, the current labels for transport classification are shown, whereas the new GHS labels are in the third column.
