Based on our long-standing experience in functional safety, this training provides you with essential knowledge of the new ISO/PAS 8800 standard focusing on AI safety in the automotive sector. As AI becomes increasingly important in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving functions, understanding how to integrate AI safely is critical.
Existing standards like ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) address AI only partially or not at all. ISO/PAS 8800 has been introduced to close these gaps.
This course offers a comprehensive overview of artificial intelligence and builds a detailed understanding of ISO/PAS 8800. You will learn how this standard connects to and complements existing safety standards.
