墨西哥Mexico：CRT 取代 IFT 成為唯一主管機關

自 2025 年 10 月 17 日 起，墨西哥聯邦電信機構（IFT）正式解編，其所有電信與廣播監管職權皆已移交給新設立的 電信監管委員會（CRT）。此一重大變革是根據 《2025 年電信與廣播法》 所實施，旨在重塑聯邦對數位與廣播基礎設施的監管體系。

主要行政變更如下：

• IFT 官方網站與社群平台已於 10 月 17 日關閉
• CRT 官方網站（crt.gob.mx） 取而代之，成為所有申辦作業的官方入口
• 為支援過渡作業，政府宣布兩項暫停期：
  • 一般行政作業：暫停 15 個工作天
  • 型式認證（Homologation）流程：暫停 5 個工作天

在過渡期間，辦理時程可能略有延遲，但先前已核准之流程將由 CRT 接續管理，確保服務不中斷。原有 IFT 規定目前仍暫時有效，除非與新法相抵觸。

CRT 預計將在未來 12 個月內建立自有完整的法規架構。

Mexico: Replaces IFT with CRT as New Telecom Regulator

As of October 17, 2025, Mexico has officially dissolved the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), transferring all regulatory responsibilities to the newly formed Comisión Reguladora de Telecomunicaciones (CRT). This change is part of the 2025 Telecommunications and Broadcasting Law, which restructures federal oversight of the country’s digital and broadcasting sectors.

Key Administrative Changes:

• All IFT platforms and social media were deactivated on October 17
• The CRT portal (crt.gob.mx) is now the official platform for all regulatory procedures
• Temporary suspensions to support the transition:
  • 15 business days for general administrative procedures
  • 5 business days for type approval (homologation)

During this transitional period, applicants may experience delays, but existing and previously approved procedures will continue under CRT oversight. Existing IFT regulations remain temporarily valid unless they conflict with the new law.

The CRT is expected to establish its own regulatory framework within the next 12 months.
