墨西哥：ATDT成立與型式認證影響

2025年1月24日，墨西哥政府發布法令，宣布新成立的監管機構——數位轉型與電信機構（Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones，ATDT）將取代現有的聯邦電信研究院（Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones，IFT）。

在此過渡期間，IFT因預算削減導致多名員工被裁撤，進一步影響其運作。受此影響，未來數月內型式認證程序預計將出現延誤，因為現有員工需要適應變動，同時等待ATDT全面接管認證程序。

Mexico: Establishment of ATDT and Impact on Type Approval

On January 24, 2025, the Mexican Government published a Decree announcing a new established regulatory body, La Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones (ATDT), will replace the current authority, Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT).

In the wake of this transition, budget cuts to IFT have resulted in the layoff of several staff members, leading to significant operational disruptions. Consequently, type approval delays are expected over the coming months as the remaining staff adapts to these changes and awaits ATDT's full assumption of homologation procedures.
