墨西哥:低功率無線通訊設備技術規範 IFT-016-2024

墨西哥聯邦電信研究院(IFT)公布了IFT-016-2024,這是一項新技術規範,規定了30 MHz至3 GHz頻段內低功率無線通訊設備的技術規格、限制條件及測試程序。

本規範適用於各類低功率設備,包括:

  • 通用低功率發射器(非特定短距離裝置)
  • 無線麥克風
  • 助聽設備
  • 無線警報系統

透過規範操作限制、發射限制及標準化測試方法,IFT-016-2024 確保這些設備符合嚴格的技術標準,從而降低對其他經授權通訊服務的干擾風險。

主要技術要求如下:

  1. 工作頻率 – 規定允許的頻率範圍。
  2. 佔用頻寬 – 管控頻寬使用,以防止信號擁擠。
  3. 帶外發射 – 限制對相鄰頻率的干擾。
  4. 非必要發射 – 確保設備最大程度降低有害輻射。
  5. 最大功率 / 最大電場強度 – 限制發射功率水平,以減少干擾風險。
  6. 頻率容限 – 確保設備穩定運行於指定頻率範圍內。

 

Mexico: Technical Regulation for Low-Power Radio Communication Devices: IFT-016-2024

The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) has introduced IFT-016-2024, a new technical regulation that establishes specifications, limits, and testing procedures for low-power radio communication devices operating within the 30 MHz to 3 GHz frequency range.

This regulation applies to various low-power devices, including:

  • Generic low-power transmitters (Non-Specific Short-Range Devices)
  • Wireless microphones
  • Hearing-aid devices
  • Wireless alarm systems

By defining operational limits, emission restrictions, and standardized testing methods, IFT-016-2024 ensures that these devices comply with strict technical standards, thereby minimizing interference with other authorized communication services.

Key Technical Requirements are as below:

  1. Operational Frequency – Specifies the permitted frequency range.
  2. Occupied Bandwidth – Regulates bandwidth usage to prevent signal congestion.
  3. Out-of-band Emissions – Restricts interference with adjacent frequencies.
  4. Unwanted Emissions – Ensures minimal harmful radiation.
  5. Maximum Power / Maximum Electric Field Strength – Limits transmission power levels to reduce interference risks.
  6. Frequency Tolerance – Guarantees stable frequency operation.
